A Sizzling Summer of Workshops with Blackboard

Interested in having a web site for your class so that you and your students can communicate but don't want all the administrative headaches of learning a programming language? Want to spend more time researching and less time answering routine administrative class questions? Heard the term Blackboard tossed around campus and have no idea what it means?

If you answered yes to one of these questions we have a training session for you. Please join us for a two-hour introductory Blackboard training session offered the second Tuesday of every month this summer. In the training session you will build and manage a complete course on the Web using the simple Blackboard interface

Do you have a Blackboard site and not know what the capabilities really are? If you know a little bit about Blackboard and want to learn more please join us for one of the free two-hour Advanced Blackboard Workshops offered the 4th Wednesday of every month this summer. This workshop offers hands-on experience in more advanced features such as creating surveys and quizzes, maintaining an Online gradebook, and using the discussion board feature.

To find out more information about either of the two workshops please go to http://aboutblackboard.northwestern.edu/training.htm
