A Glance into the Future: The Fall 2East: eNewsletter and New Technology Series

The 2East: eNewsletter will be signing off for the summer. But don't despair. The electronic newsletter from Northwestern's primary experts in the usages of technology for faculty resources, instruction, and research will be back again in the fall to bring you up-to-date on the latest 2East services and developments by providing brief cutting-edge news, updates, seminar schedules, links, and information.

Emphasizing our one-stop shopping services of 2East (Collection Management, Digital Media Services, and Academic Technologies), the goal of the 2East: eNewsletter will be to continue to provide easy and informative access to the resource, instruction, and research issues that impact NU faculty. If you want to know about the latest developments in technological advances or just want to know how to better utilize the technology that's currently available, don't miss the upcoming fall issues of the 2East: eNewsletter.

The 2East: New Technology Series will also be taking a hiatus this summer in order to better asses the presentation needs and desires of faculty with their usage of technology. However, from Utilizing PowerPoint in Instruction and iMovies to Videoconferencing and Advanced Visualization, the 2East: New Technology Series will continue to assist faculty next fall in developing the necessary skills to advance teaching and research. Although the 2East: eNewsletter will be taking a break over the summer. We, of course, will not. In our continual effort to keep you up-to-date, any breaking news or announcements will still be shared with you via the 2East listserv.
